GEORGE TOWN: Police here seized drugs worth RM168,034 and arrested four suspects in three raids within the span of six hours.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong said three men and a woman were arrested in separate raids by the district Narcotics Crime Investigation Department between 2.30pm and 8.30pm on Sept 28.

"Interrogation of the duo led police to a house in Weld Quay, where a 23-year-old man was arrested after 131 packets containing 3.085kg of MDMA and 22g of ketamine were found."As police approached the car, the suspect sped off and attempted to ram a patrol vehicle in an attempt to flee.
