Kedah PAS commissioner Ahmad Yahaya in confirming the death said Abdul Isa succumbed to his ailment at 10.50pm while receiving treatment at the Klang Hospital in Selangor."He was appointed as the secretary of the Muassasah Darul Ulum council from 2007 to 2011, Kedah Speaker from 2008 to 2013, Chairman of the Darul Ulum Islamic College council and the head of Kubang Pasu PAS.
"He was also a former Universiti Utara Malaysia lecturer and the director of Institut Pemikiran Dato Ustaz Fadhil Mohd Noor," he said in a statement. Ahmad said Kedah PAS extended their condolences to the family of the late Abdul Isa and prayed for his soul to be placed among the righteous.
