Former Asean Para Games medallist spotted selling tissue covers in KL

PETALING JAYA: Koh Lee Peng once brought home Asean Para Games medals but she is now selling tissue packet covers on Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur , says Twitter user @fxwxb.

“She was holding a torn-up laminated newspaper and I could only make out what the title was; ‘Bekas Atlet Renang OKU Dicemuh’,” said @fxwxb, who added that the woman introduced herself by name and that she was a former Malaysian para athlete from Penang.

He said that his partner was there with him and added that Koh had asked them to do a search for her on YouTube and that she was not ashamed of her current work.“We felt bad because it’s projecting that we didn’t trust her from the beginning. We ended up selecting the one pictured, & started reading more about her. 2016 Female Paralympian of the Year (Penang).
