Football teams get community service for defying MCO

THE Magistrate’s Court in George Town today bound 24 men to a compulsory attendance order for three months for playing football during the movement control order .

Magistrate Rosnee Mohd Radzuan sentenced the men, aged 25 to 48, to community service after they pled guilty to the charges read to them. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
