GEORGE TOWN: Food and beverage sellers at the popular year-end Pesta Pulau Pinang have been told to reduce their prices, following complaints from visitors.

The carnival’s masterplan committee senior manager Refnaldy Azuardi said he had taken note of complaints on social media and spoken with the traders.

“With rental charges for stalls being maintained, traders should try to keep their prices in check,” he said, adding that the rental was kept at RM3,500 for 36 days as when the carnival was last held in 2019.
