KotaBharu Seramai 300 penuntut UMK dalam kalangan B40 menerima sumbangan keperluan harian dan makanan menerusi Program Food Bank Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YaPEIM) 1.0.

Timbalan Naib Canselor , Prof Ts Dr Zaliman Sauli berkata, program Foodbank YaPEIM 1.0 itu adalah inisiatif baharu Seksyen Tatatertib dan Kebajikan Pelajar, Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni, UMK.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika Majlis Perasmian Food Bank YaPEIM 1.0 dan Penyerahan Tricycle Kepada Pelajar UMK, di Bilik Mesyuarat Senat, UMK Kampus Kota, Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu. “Inisiatif ini diusahakan secara bersama antara Pejabat Timbalan Naib Canselor Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni, Pusat Islam serta Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar UMK.
