No active logging in Gunung Inas forest reserve - TakiyuddinThe minister says reforestation are instead being carried out in some areas. The frightening aspect of the overflow of water is the large amount of debris from trees, shrubs and wood waste uprooted from the logging area. This clearly shows that logging for years and other forms of deforestation are the main causes of floods. The logging activities doesn't have to be ongoing to cause this. Recent logging activites is more likely the culprit. Got logging lah.
