JOHOR BARU: The number of flood evacuees in Johor has declined to 2,679 victims from 757 families as of 8pm on Monday (Jan 10), compared to 2,935 people from 846 families at 4pm.

said the victims were taking shelter at 36 temporary relief centres in four districts affected by flood.

Vidyananthan said Muar has 952 people from 284 families at 10 PPS, Tangkak with 655 people from 199 families at nine PPS and Batu Pahat with 81 victims from 18 families at one PPS. Vidyananthan said Jalan Pogoh in Segamat from KM6.5 to KM6.7, was only accessible for heavy vehicles.
