GEORGE TOWN: Penang police busted a drug processing lab, arresting five people and seizing various drugs worth RM355,710 in a raid in a Kepala Batas house last Wednesday (Dec 4).

Penang police chief Comm Datuk T. Narenasagaran said that the police also confiscated 121 live bullets and vehicles worth around RM57,992 during the raid.

Comm Narenasagaran said the detainees, including a woman, have been remanded for seven days and the case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act and Section 8 of the Firearms Act 1960.
