Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the incident occurred on Monday evening .
"We received a call about the incident at around 4.45pm and dispatched a fire engine and six personnel from the Sungai Besar fire station to the scene. "They arrived at the scene in front of a restaurant about two minutes later and found that a toddler had been accidentally locked in a car," he said when contacted."The whole ordeal was over in about 10 minutes and the fire engine and personnel returned to the station by 5pm," he said.
