“However, during these difficult times, many are jobless and full-time housewives have no income,” said Ermeemarianna.“We came up with this idea to give needy mothers items such as sanitary pads because when they have no money to eat, buying sanitary pads will be the least of their concerns even though it is important.“Their babies and toddlers need nutritious food too.Some 50 care packs have so far been distributed in Taman Medan, Kampung Baru Damansara and Petaling Jaya Old Town.
Ermeemarianna added that these care packs, which cost RM100 each, were made possible thanks to donations and the assistance of councillors Bryan Ng and Norah Mansor.
