North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said police received a report that the man has gone on a rampage by hitting his wife and child at their home with a white plastic chair on Thursday at around 11.45am.
“The 51-year old victim, who is a Penang Islamic Affairs Department officer, said her husband was furious because their child did not close the door of their house. “The victim claimed that her husband is a hot-tempered man and decided to come to the police station to lodge a report because she was worried about her personal and family’s safety, ” he said in a statement on Thursday .“The victim was beaten by her husband using a chair and threatened to be killed while stopping her husband who was scolding their 19-year-old daughter.
