Faizal to donate his salary as Muhyiddin’s adviser to Covid fund

Ahmad Faizal Azumu will contribute the RM27,000 he received as the special adviser to former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin to the Covid-19 fund, according to a Malay weekly. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 19, 2021.

AHMAD Faizal Azumu will return the RM27,000 he received as the special adviser to former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin, Mingguan Malaysia reported. According to the Malay weekly, Faizal informed Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali on the day Muhyiddin resigned as prime minister on August 16 and wanted the money donated to the Covid-19 fund.
