FACIAL recognition technology is increasingly employed today by law enforcement agencies, banks, hotels, airports and now convenience stores to quickly detect and arrest crime. Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim said facial recognition cameras in convenience stores clearly records the faces of criminals for easier tracing.
