HONG KONG: Rioters went on a wrecking spree, causing extensive damage to metro stations across Hong Kong.

Rioters broke into stations that were already closed, vandalised facilities inside, set fires in control rooms, smashed trains on the platforms and threw objects onto the tracks on Tuesday evening.

University Station, Mong Kok Station, Mong Kok East Station and Kowloon Tong Station were the most targeted.
