KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabah tourism culture and environment minister Masidi Manjun has been appointed chairman of Universiti Malaysia Sabah board of directors. Masidi, who is also Sabah PPBM deputy chief, received the appointment letter from Higher Education Minister Noraini Ahmad at Parliament last night.
When contacted by FMT, Masidi confirmed his appointment and said he will be reporting to UMS tomorrow, adding that he will only be making an official statement after a briefing session.
