PETALING JAYA: The national team led by Lee Zii Jia can expect some countrymen cheering them on when the Sudirman Cup gets under way in Vantaa, Finland today.

Malaysia will open their Group D campaign against England tomorrow, followed by Egypt and Japan on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.The Malaysia embassy in Finland has called on the Malaysians residing in the Nordic country to come out in numbers at the Energia Areena.

“We need to add a little flavour and liven up the atmosphere at the stadium with our chants and over enthusiasm!
