THE Malaysian economy’s return to a stronger footing in first quarter of 2022 with GDP growth of 5.0% and the latest economic indicators show that economic recovery has begun. The Ministry of Finance , in its 95th People’s Financial Report issued today, said the Malaysian economy is expected to grow between 5.3% and 6.3% this year, supported by higher domestic demand and support from external demand, increased economic activity and continued labour market recovery.
