IN just two days after the King of Mandopop Jay Chou cancelled the Hong Kong leg of his world tour, Hong Kong singer Eason Chan (pic) has also announced that all 25 of his scheduled concerts there will be cancelled as well, reported Sin Chew Daily.

It was supposed to mark the 45-year-old singer’s return to Hong Kong Coliseum after six years since he last performed there.The organiser, ESL Ltd, said the decision was made as they would not be able to ensure the safety of the audience. Hong Kong has been embroiled in protests for democratic reforms for the past six months and street demonstrations have grown increasingly violent.
