BUTTERWORTH: A 28-year-old man was killed in an accident at KM4.3 of the Penang Bridge in early Sunday (Jan 16).

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Shafee Abd Samad said police were informed about the incident at about 2.05am.

“The accident is believed to have happened when the four-wheel-drive vehicle crashed into the back of a car,” he said in a statement on Sunday. He said the driver of the four-wheel-drive vehicle sustained injuries and was sent to Seberang Jaya Hospital for further treatment.
