IPOH: A man whose car crashed into an eatery in Kampar resulting in the death of a cook has sought forgiveness from the deceased's family.

The 54-year-old man from Klang who lost his right leg in an accident two years ago visited the house of 59-year-old Wong Kwai Yung on Station Road for 10 minutes on Wednesday to pay his last respects.

"I was at the house to make some contributions and to see how I could help the family. So when her son told me this, I immediately called the driver and told him to come over.
