KLUANG: A car with a family of four crashed into an elephant, resulting in the death of the 38-year-old driver.

Kluang deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani said the three passengers, including a five-year-old boy, survived with injuries after the incident that occurred around 10pm at KM70 Jalan Kota Tinggi-Kluang on Saturday .

“The car was heading towards Kluang from Felda Bukit Tongkat when it crashed into the large animal that was crossing the road.“He suffered from head and neck injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,” said DSP Abdul Razak when contacted on Sunday .The case was classified under Section 4 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
