PETALING JAYA: Sixteen vegetable farmers in Yong Peng, Johor who were affected by the recent floods have received aid from Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Ayer Hitam MP and MCA president said he and his political secretary Ling Tian Soon met up with members of the Yong Peng Vegetable Farmers Association on Saturday afternoon .

“I took the opportunity to give some contribution to 16 vegetable farmers who suffered from the floods which hit Yong Peng recently,” he said in a Facebook post on Saturday . The Transport Minister said it had become a norm for the association to raise their problems with him and Ling to find solutions together.“During the Covid-19 outbreak and floods, Ling and I constantly stood by them through hard times,” Dr Wee added.
