Dr Mahathir: Najib could return as PM since SRC conviction penalties stayed for appeal | Malay Mail

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed Datuk Seri Najib Razak could become the prime minister again as his sentence for misappropriating RM42 million from SRC International has been stayed pending appeal.

“Najib has appealed to the Federal Court after the Court of Appeal today affirmed the High Court ruling on the imprisonment and fine. “If he wins, he will remain as the MP and can also become a prime minister too. Alhamdulillah, Malaysia might create another record by appointing a convict as a prime minister,” he wrote on his blog.

He cannot contest in next GE unless he is free from trial. Till then he is still a MP. Please read tbe verdict in full guys..

4 judges have confirmed guilty verdict and will await the FC verdict which may take one year or more.

Every citizen of this country can practice or be anything as long as the laws allow it. U can be PM twice. Najib can also be PM twice ha ha

Not that we like, but why should YOU be worried ?

This fellow is far worst - the ability to corrupt anyone he works with. With him around, Malaysia will have a constant flow of Najibs, Mahiadddins & Sabris until kingdom come. Now is the time to go for the head of the 🐍 & ensure his corrupt legacy is laid to waste for good.

Najib brought up another 'National embarrassment' called the Forex Scandal .... I think that should be investigated next too.
