Doctor loses cool at Rasah clinic, video goes viral

In the 28-second video clip, the doctor, who appeared to be visibly upset and irritable as he shouted at a patient and her companion, believed to be her father, to either wait or leave the consultation room.

“After waiting for about 15 minutes, the doctor called my number. I went in and was told that I was having cough and flu. At first, he didn't even take the initiative to come forward to check my breathing with his stethoscope. So he told me he'd give me cough medicine."So I told the pharmacist that I didn't have diarrhea, I had cough. So she told me, the doctor didn't prescribe that medicine in the system. Then she told me to go see the doctor again.

Another netizen known as Tyne Mint wrote, “Yeah... the person recording is the one at fault. Not the doctor. You cannot just run into the room and demand service. They can sue you for trespassing. Like literally, your filming will be used against you.”“The doctor dares to be recorded and show his face. The one who is recording, you don’t show your face?”

"Negri Sembilan Health Department urges the public not to speculate against any party involved in the incident and to seek for an official statement from the department or Health Ministry.

Don't think the doctor was being rude, the public are sometimes so demanding. Doctors have work to do, and may not want to be disturbed

If you choose not to be patience, please have your minimum insurance protection. Go to private hospital/clinic instead. Less crowded. Give the opportunity to those who less fortunate to be in the G Hospital.

4. Msians shld learn to also stop the habit of viralling videos when u r dissatisfied abt smthing. There's a proper channel to lodge complaints. 5. Msians shld b thankful u can walk in to any clinics/hosp as u like. Here in UK(even elsewhere)u hv 2 make appointments to do so!

1. Taking video/photos in hospital is wrong. She should be charged. 2. Drs r human too. Not evryone can take up tight timing with 50 patients in 5 hours to keep smiling to u even if u r nasty. Can u? 3. Simple prob cld hv bn solved if ppl learn to b courteous n patient.

This is a disgrace. The woman should be fined for making this video. Why is it nowadays everyone resorts to making videos of their confrontations? My sympathy is with this overworked and underpaid doctor.

Although his tone has slightly gone abit too high, but he is not wrong to ask them out as he was seeing other patient at that time.This couple show no respect to the doctor and the patient. They can make official complaint to KKM, but not by taking video.

So? Are we supposed to publicly judge him?..and then what?

To the lady who boldly viral this doctor, you donno what kind of day the doctor has gone thru, the stress and all. He was attending another patient, and i for one would not like my turn to be interrupted. You shld hv been more considerate and compassionate. salutedoctors

Some of us are just allergic to nasty people... Pity the government doctor... gaji bukan tinggi.. have to see 50 patients that day and have to layan some entitled person barging in while the doctor is attending to another patient...

Who ever is right, the doctor should have keep his 'cool' and not have shouted at his patient. If you cannot behave like one then DON'T be one. You have tarnish the Min of Health reputation. Doctor are taught to calm the sick and not the other way round. Your shirt looked tight..

I really love my KK Botanic Klang from the counter till the pharmacist all in good services. It just take about 30-45 min sometimes if u go after work around 6-7pm just take about 15 min till u got the medicine KKMPutrajaya DrDzul

By n large docs n nurses care for far too many patients in govt hos. I know, being going for past 10 yrs. The care n attn given by doc n nurses n staff are good despite the pressure. I buy them drinks to say THANK YOU.
