KUALA LUMPUR: A 34-year-old dispatch rider was killed following an accident along the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway.

The incident occurred when a man, who was driving his car on the third lane of the highway, lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the motorcyclist, who was at the utmost left lane at about 12.10am on Wednesday .

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya said the victim was dragged some 2m before the driver realised what had occurred."We believe the car driver had dozed off prior to the accident," he said when contacted on Wednesday."A breathalyser test revealed that the man was not under the influence of alcohol," ACP Zulkefly said.
