Curious phenomenon: Large swarm of jellyfish beaches in Kuala Penyu

Kota Kinabalu: A large swarm of jellyfish beached at Kampung Jangkit, Kuala Penyu, on Wednesday, a phenomenon that piqued people's curiosity.

Justin Tianji, 55, a local from nearby Kampung Kiaru, said the whole stretch of the beach was inundated with jellyfish, some still alive in the water.“I was on my way home around noon, and I spotted the jellyfish – some washed up on the beach, and some floating in the water,” he told the Daily Express. “My whole life living here, this is the first time I saw such a thing.”SPONSORED CONTENT Sabah revenue hits RM6.
