The Sabah Wildlife Department (SWD) translocated two male elephants that found themselves in Kampung Litang and in a plantation in the quest for food last week.

KINABATANGAN: The Sabah Wildlife Department translocated two male elephants that found themselves in Kampung Litang and in a plantation in the quest for food last week. The translocation is in response to the problems of crop-raiding faced by villagers. A five-footer was darted on Saturday and the other, about seven feet tall, just four days later. They are estimated to be aged between six and 17 years.
