Reunion is a stellar remaster of a mostly great prequel story that sadly sours in its final act Kotaku's review of Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion:

’s unique slot-based combat system is a little less arduous and distracting than it was in the PSP original. Gone is the original release’s “modulating phase” that stopped combat. The Digital Mind Wave remains, however, with its randomized, slot-machine-style chance for you to get bonuses like HP boosts or temporary invincibility. This adds another level of unpredictability to the combat that doesn’t just shower you with gifts, but asks you to make the most out of what it gives you.

When the portraits in the Digital Mind Wave all match, say three instances of Sephiroth or Angeal , you’ll get access to a limit break . Limit breaks are themed to the character whose portrait matches, and you can hear them giving a kind of pep talk to Zack when you trigger them. Sephiroth grants an omnislash-like ability ; Aerith grants full healing , and so on.

Step aside Kotaku! We don't need your woke and well worded review! We already have this masterpiece!

sour ending My guy, you missed the entire point of the ending or even the whole game. The whole thing is a tragedy.

Does “sours” mean “brings it home” like Michael Jackson says “Bad” but means “Cool”? Cuz CC’s final act is incredible.

The Final Act is literally what sets up Cloud's entire persona in FF7... I feel as if the article was written by someone whom doesn't know what they were playing.

What makes the game IS the final act though lol

Lol why did the reviewer not know what he was playing?

Hopefully Xbox gamers supported the game this time around. If not, do t expect future games. Square is giving you another chance, could be the last.

Really? I think it's the complete opposite... dredge until the final act
