Covid vax status of 1,200 people blocked in probe into clinic issuing fake certs

Terengganu police say each of the 1,223 individuals on the private clinic’s registry who have received vaccination certificates on the MySejahtera application had paid the doctor for a fake certificate. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 20, 2022.

THE Terengganu Health Department has blocked the Covid-19 vaccination status of 1,223 people who went to a private clinic in Marang, which is under investigation for issuing fake vaccination certificates. State police chief Rohaimi Md Isa said this was after police identified the 1,223 names on MySejahtera among a list of 1,900 who had dealt with the clinic for vaccination matters.
