Kit Siang turut menegaskan, perkara itu dilakukan tanpa mengambil kira bahawa negeri itu mencatatkan jumlah kes dan kematian Covid-19 tertinggi di Malaysia sejak dua minggu lepas. Najib yang memberikan maklum balas di ruangan komen menulis: “Happy CNY uncle , want to ask , Covid-19 serang pengundi PRN saja tapi langsung tak ancam mereka yang protes di jalan raya ke?”
