LANGKAWI: Sebuah resort lima bintang di Jalan Datai, Ayer Hangat di sini menutup operasi selama 10 hari bermula hari ini apabila sebanyak 16 kes positif Covid-19 dikesan di resort tersebut.
The Datai Langkawi dalam satu kenyataan di laman web rasminya memaklumkan, sebanyak 16 kes positif tersebut adalah dalam kalangan pekerjanya. “Dalam saringan berkala secara rawak yang dilakukan kepada pekerja resort, kami mendapati ada pekerja yang didapati positif dan telah diasingkan bagi menjalani kuarantin.
“Kami telah mengambil langkah untuk mengesan kontak rapat, dan mendapati ada kes positif turut dikesan menyebabkan protokol kuarantin diaktifkan oleh pihak pengurusan,” katanya. Bagi memastikan keselamatan pengunjung, selain menutup operasi premis, pihaknya akan melakukan sanitasi menyeluruh terhadap premis tersebut sejajar dengan keperluan Kementerian Kesihatan.Jelasnya, pengunjung yang terjejas akan dihubungi dan diberi pilihan sama ada pertukaran tarikh atau pembatalan secara percuma tanpa sebarang penalti dikenakan.
