PETALING JAYA: A total of 26.38 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been received by Malaysia so far via government procurement and foreign contributions, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

PETALING JAYA : A total of 26.38 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been received by Malaysia so far via government procurement and foreign contributions, says Khairy JamaluddinThe Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said that 61.7% of the Malaysian population have registered for Covid-19 inoculation as of Monday .

Khairy, who is also National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating minister, said that almost all states are expected to have 40% of their adult population fully vaccinated by the end of August. He added that Malaysia has received vaccine donations from three countries so far, namely Japan, the United States and China.-19 vaccines to Malaysia,” he said this during a briefing session on the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme at the special sitting of the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday . - Bernama
