COVID-19 | Cumulative cases now at 2,575,888.

| The Health Ministry today reported 6,355 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,575,888.The R-naught value or infectivity rate declined slightly from 1.03 to 1.02 as of yesterday, but still above the 1.0 threshold that indicates that the virus is spreading at an accelerating rate.

Nationally, hospital admissions have been on the rise, increasing by 2.65 percent in the last seven days compared to the preceding week. The rise was largely contributed by Penang , Kuala Lumpur , Johor and Negeri Sembilan during the this period.Selangor
