PETALING JAYA: Only Perlis recorded an infectivity rate value over 1.0 on Sunday (Dec 5), says the Health Ministry.

Its director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in his daily statement, said that the national R-nought was currently at 0.97.Sarawak recorded the lowest Rt value of the country at 0.73.The country also recorded 4,929 recoveries.

Dr Noor Hisham added that nine new clusters were identified, and currently, 233 clusters remain active. "The Health Ministry will continue to monitor developments of infection within the country and overseas via information gathered by the WHO.
