KUALA LUMPUR: The Covid-19 vaccination certificate in the MySejahtera application cannot be duplicated because it uses blockchain technology, which guarantees its authenticity, says Datuk Seri Dr Adham BabaHowever, the Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said the recent forgery of vaccine certificates in Terengganu was due to integrity problems of irresponsible parties.
"As we know, Terengganu police have uncovered fake vaccination certificates, believed to be masterminded by a private clinic doctor,” he said after launching the e-Skrol platform, using blockchain technology, for International Islamic University Malaysia graduates Tuesday . On the launch of the e-Skrol platform, he said that IIUM, in collaboration with his Ministry and the Higher Education Ministry, could share expertise in the development of e-Skrol, so that its use could be expanded in public and private institutions of higher learning, both locally and abroad.

If it is so secure we won’t be having fake ones which enable ppl to out of country; you need to buy air tickets to travel out; just admit there is a flaw somewhere; the price being paid for My Sejahtera apps is not cheap
