PETALING JAYA: A total of 2,892 or 99.1% of the 3,010 new Covid-19 cases detected on Sunday (Jan 16) were in Category One and Two, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health Director-General then added in his daily press release on Sunday that 28 or 0.9% of the cases were in Categories Three, Four and Five.Category Three cases experience pneumonia while cases in Category Four have pneumonia and require oxygen.

Dr Noor Hisham also said that seven new clusters have been identified, adding that 176 clusters are still active while 6,036 have been declared to have ended.On flood updates, no new additional cases of Covid-19 were found at flood evacuation centres.
