There are 2,331 new COVID-19 cases today and 751 are reported in Selangor. Total active cases remaining has risen to 19,094.

Malaysia has recorded 2,331 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 372,859. There are 5 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,370.

The Ministry of Health has reported 1,832 new recoveries and a total of 352,395 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 94.51% while the mortality rate is at 0.37%. There are currently 19,094 active cases remaining which are receiving treatment. 225 are in ICU while 92 require respiratory support.

Out of the 2,331 new cases today, 12 are imported while 2,319 are transmitted locally. Selangor recorded the most today with 751 cases, followed by Sarawak with 512 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 252 cases and Kelantan with 225 cases.
