Active Covid-19 cases today exceeded the 150,000 mark. According to data on the severity of new cases, 96 percent were asymptomatic or mild. However, KKMPutrajaya has not disclosed how many active cases, are asymptomatic, mild, severe, or critical.

| The Health Ministry today reported 15,902 new Covid-19 cases that has pushed active cases beyond the 150,000 mark.

Based on data of the severity of new cases today, 96.8 percent of new cases were either asymptomatic or with mild symptoms. However the ministry has not disclosed how many of its active cases are asymptomatic, mild, severe or critical. There were 155,193 test samples taken in the 24-hour period as of noon today, giving an unofficial positivity rate of 10.03 percent. This figure has been in double digits for five of the last six days.

The World Health Organisation recommends a testing positivity rate threshold of 5 percent. Anything above that suggests under-testing.

KKMPutrajaya DGHisham Kindly provide the Cat 1-5 breakdown for active cases too (in addition to daily cases). In my opinion, active cases is more important than daily cases, because active cases can become the spreaders. Let's fight together to beat the virus
