putrajaya Seebagai langkah pencegahan Covid-19, kerajaan memutuskan untuk tidak membenarkan mana-mana kapal asing berlabuh di perairan negara sekiranya enggan berkongsi maklumat penting diperlukan pihak berkuasa Malaysia.

Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail yang juga Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Pusat menegaskan demikian susulan dua kapal asing cuba berlabuh di negara ini.

“Kapal itu sudah mendapat kebenaran untuk berlabuh di Vietnam semalam , manakala Sapphire Princess pula sudah selamat berlabuh di Singapura,” katanya. Sementara itu, beliau berkata, Malaysia tidak akan mengikuti jejak langkah China untuk menukar definisi kes Covid-19. “Pendekatan sedemikian hanya dilaksanakan di Hubei, dekat Wuhan kerana makmal di wilayah itu ketika ini tidak dapat menampung keperluan untuk melakukan ujian.
