Perlis has highest Covid-19 deaths per million over the past two weeks.

| The Health Ministry's Github data repository reported a total of 88 Covid-19 fatalities yesterday , bringing the cumulative death toll to 27,681.

The highest death was reported in Sarawak followed by Johor , Sabah , Perak , Selangor , Kelantan , Penang , Kedah , Kuala Lumpur , Terengganu , Malacca , Pahang and Putrajaya .According to the Health Ministry's website, over the past two weeks Perlis has the highest death per one million people followed by Penang and Sarawak.

From the newly reported deaths yesterday, 22 died before they could receive treatment at a hospital or"brought in dead " based on Health Ministry terminology.The remaining deaths happened more than a week ago but were only recorded yesterday due to delays in data reporting. An average of 203 Covid-19 deaths were reported daily in the last 30 days compared to a past seven-day average of 81 indicating a downtrend.As of yesterday, there were 101,587 active Covid-19 cases. This is a reduction of 21.3 percent from the 129,050 active infections a week ago.Previously, the Health Ministry released deaths statistics together with the number of new Covid-19 cases in the evening. This had since changed.reports them in the morning.
