Lebih 20 juta kanak-kanak layak mendapat vaksin Pfizer-BioNTech selagi mereka mendapat kebenaran daripada ibu bapa mereka

SAO PAULO: Brazil mula memberikan vaksin Covid-19 kepada golongan kanak-kanak yang berusia lima hingga 11 tahun di negara itu.Seorang kanak-kanak orang asli berumur lapan tahun, Davi Seremramiwe Xavante merupakan yang pertama diberi suntikan vaksin dalam satu majlis rasmi di hospital Sao Paulo yang turut dihadiri oleh gabenor negeri, Joao Doria.Kumpulan umur baharu itu diluluskan untuk vaksinasi oleh pihak berkuasa kesihatan Anvisa pada bulan lalu.

. Golongan Orang asli dan kanak-kanak yang mempunyai masalah kesihatan merupakan kumpulan keutamaan untuk kempen vaksinasi tersebut. Sebelum ini, Bolsonaro berulang kali mengkritik tindakan dengan menegaskan beliau tidak sama sekali akan memberi vaksin kepada anak perempuannya berusia 11 tahun, Laura. – AFP
