PETALING JAYA: There has been a slight decrease in Covid-19 cases recorded with 1,690 cases on Sunday (June 19) compared to 2,127 recorded the day before.

According to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal, this brings the cumulative number of cases to 4,540,612.Of the active cases 24,906 or 96% are undergoing home quarantine while 15 people are being treated at low quarantine and treatment centres.

There are 1,000 people in hospitals nationwide with eight in intensive care units, 15 of whom require ventilation support.
