PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 7,452 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday (June 5), taking the national tally to 610,574 cases.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah posted on Twitter that Selangor recorded the highest increase out of all states with 2,509 new cases. This was followed by Negri Sembilan with 843, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur with 678 new cases and Sarawak with 651.
