Covid-19: 19 new clusters, 10 linked to workplaces

The Health director-general said out of the 19 clusters, 10 involved workplaces, four from community transmission, three linked to religious activities and two linked to the education sector.

The Jalan Nouvelle cluster is located at the Hulu Langat and Petaling districts in Selangor and has 21 cases. It has 54 cases to date and was detected after a targeted screening of staff members of a services company in Blok D, Jalan Pending, Kuching.It was found after a targeted screening of workers at a factory in Jalan Kempas, Pagoh Industrial Area in Muar.

It has 26 cases and was detected after screening of workers at a factory in Jalan Perusahaan 4, Kamunting, Larut, Matang and Selama. The Pulau Ketam cluster involves the Klang, Petaling, and Sabak Bernam districts in Selangor, and emerged from social activities by the community. To date, there are 22 cases detected in the cluster.

The Jalan Limbang cluster is a cluster linked to religious activity, and is located in Miri, Sarawak.The Beladin cluster is also a cluster linked to religious activity, involving the Pusa district in Sarawak.
