| There have been 159 new Covid-19 cases in the country, bringing the total to 2,320 as of noon today.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there has also been one new death, bringing the death toll to 27. The latest victim was Patient 2,162, a 61-year-old man with a history of diabetes and hypertension, who was first warded at the Tangkak Hospital on March 24.Of the new cases, 73 are in ICU today compared to 54 from yesterday.Asked about the Sri Petaling tabligh cluster, Noor Hisham said to date 12,500 samples had been taken.Meanwhile, 6,648 others from this cluster have tested negative.
