Court of Appeal to hear ’Basikal Lajak’ case on Monday

A FEMALE driver’s appeal against a six-year jail sentence and a fine of RM6,000 for reckless driving that resulted in the death of eight teenagers riding modified bicycles five years ago, will be heard at the Putrajaya Court of Appeal on Monday.

According to the court’s e-filing system, the appeal of Sam Ke Ting, 27, will be heard before a panel of judges of the Court of Appeal 3, at 9 am. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
