Police today showed their compassionate side when they visited a woman, who was recently caught for shoplifting, at her flat in Petaling Jaya and surprised her with some contributions.
Petaling Jaya District Police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the contributions that were handed over to her were items that she had failed to pay for yesterday, food as well as daily necessities donated by the Welfare Department. “I also advised her to seek zakat assistance, go to the mosque or even come to the police station if she ever needed help again,” he told Bernama.
