KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman has recorded the statements of seven individuals in connection with two interviews believed to have been given by Mohd Asri HamidFor the interview posted on Sinar Harian's Facebook page, the police have recorded the statements of Mohd Asri, Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia activist Datuk Nadzim Johan, crime analyst Kamal Affandi Hashim and moderator, Azlan Shah Nabees Khan.
"This follows statements made that insulted the police and the Armed Forces," he said when contacted on Friday night. "Mohd Asri came to Bukit Aman with two lawyers on Friday morning and afternoon for both investigations while Nadzim, Kamal Affandi and three others presented themselves later in the evening.
"We are classifying the case under Section 505 and Section 505 of the Penal Code as well as Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998," he had told reporters.
