Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said they detected a 48-second video of the incident at around 4pm Monday .
"The video shows a black luxury car driving dangerously and overtaking other vehicles on the double line road along Jalan Batu Arang - Rawang. "The dangerous overtaking manoeuvre caused an accident after oncoming vehicles were forced to brake to avoid the car," he said in a statement Monday. He said police were now tracing the whereabouts of the driver of the car, as well as owner of the dashcam footage.
"A police report has been lodged and we have classified the case under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act.Those with information can contact Insp Mohamad Suhaimi Tukiman at 013-755 7556 or the Gombak police operations room at 03-6126 2222.
